How does it all work? You will link to GoTop from your website using a special link. When a visitor on your website clicks that link they will be taken to GoTop, but they will also receive a cookie that tells our system that they arrived from your website. If that visitor becomes a member of GoTop Link Exchange you will receive a $7.00 commission.
To administer our affiliate program, we have partnered up with Shareasale.com.
Shareasale will help us keep track of how many customers you send us and they will also take care of the payments to you.
We use Shareasale because they are experts on affiliate programs and they can make sure that everything is handled in a fair and reliable fashion.
The cookie has got a 35 day expiration, meaning that if a visitor comes to GoTop from your website you will earn a commission if he/she becomes a member within 35 days after the first visit. (It is OK if the visitor does not enter GoTop through your website on the sign-up occasion as long as it is within 35 days of the first visit).
GoTop Link Exchange has a generous money-back guarantee: If an applicant does not qualify for membership he/she will get his money back. Because of this guarantee you can expect some of your commissions that show up in your Shareasale account to be reversed within 5 days of their appearance. This is then due to a money-back situation where the applicant you sent us applied, but did not qualify, for GoTop membership. Naturally we will not pay out affiliate commissions in these cases.
GoTop Link Exchange has got the right to end the affiliate partnership whenever and for whatever reason. (The same goes for the affiliate of course.)
Affiliates that try to defraud the affiliate system in any way will forfeit any previously earned commissions and will be terminated as GoTop Affiliate Partners.
Browser Helper Object (BHO) applications or e-mail spam is not allowed under this agreement and any affiliate found using these methods of promoting GoTop Link Exchange will be terminated from the affiliate partnership.
The more sites that links to your site, the better your site performs in many SE's (search engines)!
If a link to your site is called for example "Free Games", many SE's will show your site in the search results for "Free Games", even if these words do not exist anywhere on your site!
